Create 'tasks' in bulk for 'assets'

Creating Tasks in bulk in AssetLog helps you efficiently schedule the same maintenance activity for multiple Assets at once. This streamlines the process of assigning Tasks to multiple Assets simultaneously.

1. Navigate to the AssetLog dashboard.
Go to https://my.assetlog.nl/my-dashboard to access your AssetLog environment.

2. Click “Assets”.
This opens the Assets section where you can navigate to the relevant Assets.

3. Click the relevant 'Building' (in this example: “Damstraat 1”).
Selecting the correct building ensures that you are working with the Assets belonging to the relevant location.

4. Filter the relevant Asset Name (in this example we entered the part “noodverlichting” of “Noodverlichtingarmatuur (decentraal)”).
Use the Asset Name filter to find the Assets to which you want to assign the Task. You can enter part of the Asset Name to narrow down the results.

5. Click “Search”.
This displays the Assets matching the entered search criteria.

6. Select the Assets you want to add a Task to.
Select all Assets that should receive the same Task. This allows you to create the Task for multiple Assets simultaneously.

7. Click “Actions”.
The Actions menu provides access to the available actions for the selected Assets.

8. Click “+ Task (BULK)”.
This opens the Task Configuration section where you can define the Task that will be applied to all selected Assets.

9. Fill in or Select the correct Parameters for the Task.
Enter or select the required Task parameters. These settings determine how the Task will be configured for the selected Assets.

10. Click “Save”.
Saving submits the configured Task and creates it for the selected Assets.

11. Confirmation that the Task has been added to the selected Assets.
The bulk Task creation is now submitted for the Assets you selected.
