How to create a 'New Company Contact' in AssetLog?
Creating a company contact in AssetLog ensures you always have the right contact persons available per customer, building or project. This makes communication about inspections, failures and maintenance tasks more efficient and traceable within your asset management process.

In your browser, navigate to
https://my.assetlog.nl/my-dashboard.
From the dashboard you have access to all your projects, assets and master data; this is the starting point for managing contacts. -
On the main screen, click “Projects”.

In the projects area you manage all data per project context so that contacts can always be linked to the correct project. -
In the list, find the relevant Project and click “Manage project”.

By opening project management, you gain access to all administrative components such as assets, buildings and related contacts. -
In the project menu, click “Contacts” (or the section where company or customer contacts are managed).

Here you manage all contact persons linked to the project, giving you a single central place for customer and supplier contacts. -
In the contacts section, click “Actions”.

Through the Actions menu you can add new contacts without leaving the list view, which makes working more efficient. -
In the Actions menu, choose “+ Company” (or a similar option for a new company contact).

This opens the form that lets you enter the details of a new company contact in a structured way. -
Fill in the name field of the contact person (for example “demo_onderhoudsbedrijf_techniek-experts”).

A clearly entered name is essential for recognition in lists and makes it much easier to search for the right person. -
Fill in the function field or select the correct contact function (Resident/ Owner/ Supplier) from the list.

The role description helps colleagues quickly see what you can contact this person for, which prevents miscommunication. -
Add the email address of the company contact.

A correct email address is required for notifications, sending reports and correspondence from AssetLog to the contact person. -
Click “Save” to store the new company contact.

After saving, the contact is added to the list and can be used immediately for tasks, notifications and reports. -
In the Contacts overview, check that the new company contact has been created correctly and is visible.

This check confirms that the registration succeeded and that the contact is available for all users working with this project and company.
